During an initial consultation, Dr. Oliver or Dr. Jack will carefully explain the breast augmentation procedure ("mammoplasty") and determine the most appropriate treatment plan. Based on the patient's physique and desired outcome, either saline or silicone gel filled breast implants may be used to add volume to the breasts. During the procedure, an incision will be placed in the lower portion of the breast, in the armpit, or around the areola. The breast implant is then placed either under the breast tissue or beneath the chest wall muscle.
