Nose Surgery
During an initial consultation, one of our Anniston plastic surgery professionals will examine your facial anatomy in order to determine the best surgical plan. Typically, patients target bumps/humps on the bridge, nasal tip, and nostril width. Additionally, those who have difficulty breathing may benefit from nose surgery. Based on your individual needs and anticipated outcome, Dr. Oliver or Dr. Jack can perform either the "open" or "closed" technique.
When performing "open rhinoplasty," incisions are made between the nostrils, in the columella. This allows for greater visibility and control throughout the procedure. The "closed" method entails incisions only on the inside of the nose; however, there is less visibility and control of the procedure when using this technique. Those who have undergone a previous nasal procedure and were left with undesirable results may be interested in revision rhinoplasty.
